I get it! Finding a caterer for your wedding doesn't sound like a fun task, where to start right? well here are some questions that will help guide you in the process. Feel free to reach out with any further questions!

Do you have our wedding date open?

At Carmelita we take pride in what we do. At this moment we choose to book two small events per weekend or one large one in order to provide you with the best service possible. Make sure you reach out to reserve your date!

Can we schedule a tasting before hiring you? If so, is there a tasting fee?

Absolutely! Available by appointment for all clients, we offer customized menu selections based on your preferences. Tastings are one hour in duration and priced for 2 guest, $30 for each additional guest. Tastings are $100 for a 4 course meal. Industry professionals are always welcome and complimentary.  

Can you provide sample menus with pricing?

Of course, please fill out our contact form and I will be sending over a brochure with all we have to offer as well as prices. Do keep in mind we have special pricing for large groups over 200 guests. 

Is there a deposit required? Do you have a payment schedule?

Yes, we kindly ask for 20% deposit to reserve your date and we are happy to work a plan with you that fits your schedule.  Some exclusions apply so please contact us to find our more.  


Do you provide any décor for the buffet tables, appetizer stations, cake table, coffee

bar, etc.? Yes! One of the many things that set us apart is our food presentation and stations. We will work with you or your coordinator to set up our beautiful food displays to compliment your event décor. Follow us on Instagram to see some of our previous events. 


Will the food be prepared on-site?

Yes, for the most part this will depend on the menu you select and the service style of catering you choose.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions like vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies,

etc.? If so, are there any additional fees?

Of course! our team strives to accommodate all dietary restrictions to the best of our ability. We are not a certified gluten free kitchen and some cross contamination may occur.  However, many of our offerings are vegetarian, or gluten-free already. Prices vary. 


Does your staff handle cake cutting and distributing the cake? Yes, our staff can help with cake cutting and distributing the cake for an additional fee. 

Will the staff clear all plates and food from the tables after dinner is served?

Yes, we will buss the tables for you and lightly clean the plates and cups for your rental service. We will not fully wash or sanitize them as it is beyond our scope of work. 

How many servers will be walking around?

The number of Chefs, Cooks, Servers, and Staff Captains for each event is determined according to guest count and (or) menu selections. Approximately one Server per 15-20 guests. One Staff Captain per event. A full staff will attend all events with the exception of our Drop off Service. 

If serving appetizers, will your staff tray pass them? How will the staff be dressed?

Yes, if you choose to have your appetizers passed rather than stationary. Staff will be in full uniform: White buttoned up shirt, black slacks/skirt, and black tie.

Is gratuity added to the bill? 

Our moto is "Gratuities are never necessary, never expected, and always appreciated."  We hire and train our staff in person, and hold them to the highest service standards. Staff training is mandatory for all service staff employees before working an event. Our team is ready to plan the perfect menu and our hand selected staff is ready to bring it to life! 


Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

Yes, we respectfully charge a service fee to cover miscellaneous expenses incurred.
