What type of cuisine do you specialize in?

At Carmelita, we specialize in creating experiences through food. Our popular Traditional Mexican Menu is as fun as it is interactive; however, we excel at creating bespoke catering stations to provide an extraordinary food experience.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests?

Absolutely! We love to create menus that are inclusive without sacrificing flavor and presentation. Please talk to one of our team members about any concerns you might have about your dietary needs. While we offer many gluten-free options, we cannot guarantee a gluten-free or nut-free kitchen environment.

How many servers and chefs will be provided?

Every event is as unique as the next one; our onsite staff will vary depending on the food experience you choose to give your guests.

Do you provide linens, plates, and silverware?

As an alternative to formal dishware, we offer compostable plates and silverware at an additional cost. We will happily connect you with an industry professional who can assist you with china and linen rentals.

Can you provide a sample menu or offer a tasting?

Absolutely! As part of our catering experience, we are happy to coordinate a tasting consultation with you based on menu selections at an additional cost.

Can you work within our budget?

If you have any questions or concerns about catering costs, please share them with us. We will do our best to accommodate your needs or offer alternatives.

Do you have experience catering weddings?

While Carmelita is a young brand in NWA, the owners and core staff have over ten years of catering experience in the California food scene. We catered to various events and different service types during this time. Our expertise extends to food truck services, active catering stations, grazing tables, private event settings, and more.

Can you provide references or reviews from previous clients?

We are proud to say that we have received "The Knot's Best of Weddings" for two years, 2022 and 2023. We have also been featured in several bridal publications such as Arkansas Bride, The Knot, Frida Enamorada, and Weddings in Arkansas.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a nonrefundable 20% deposit to secure your date. If the event is canceled, no portion of the deposit will be returned or refunded. If the event is canceled less than six months before the date, a 2nd payment will be required to compensate for hours of service already rendered and the loss of the event date. If the event is postponed, services contracted can be applied to a new date if we are available for the new date.

How far in advance do we need to book your services?

It is never too early to reach out to secure your date! Your preferred vendors get booked soon, and we e are currently booking for 2024 dates.
